Please join us on May 3, 2014 for the first annual Walk From Obesity in Central Louisiana! Dr. James Parrish and our team at Mid Louisiana Surgical Specialists are proud to bring this event to Alexandria as one of about 75 sites across the nation that host this walk annually. We encourage you to join us as we raise awareness and offer information about how to create healthy habits. Click here to sign up for the walk – registration is only $25 online and $35 at the event. There will be fun activities for the whole family, and all registrants will receive a t-shirt! You are not required to walk if you register for this event; we just hope you are able to join us in supporting this cause!
If you choose to walk, there are two options: either 1.5 miles or 3 miles. Some of our current and former patients and their families will be at the event to share their stories and experiences with you, as well. We hope you will get a chance to meet them and learn about how bariatric surgery has changed their lives for the better.
